Victory at the Isle of Man for TTRace and Jamie Williams! (Manx GP)

Jamie Williams and the TTRace brand have a powerful story behind them.
Just a year ago, Jamie Williams was hospitalized after a crash at Kate's Cottage during the 2024 Manx GP. Yesterday, on the same island, he celebrated his first Supersport victory at the Manx Grand Prix. This is a story about how fragile the line is between disappointment and euphoria, how tough the road racing environment can be, and how one can make a comeback.
Crash and Injury in 2024
The qualifying day at the 2024 Manx Grand Prix was marked by two red flags. The first was caused by Jamie Williams' crash at Kate's Cottage, around the 30th mile of the Snaefell Mountain Course. He remained conscious but suffered injuries to his left hip and shoulder, and was airlifted to Noble's Hospital on the Isle of Man. The organizers subsequently ended that part of the program early.
Shortly after, it was confirmed that his participation in the 2024 MGP was over. Later season reviews and local reports reminded everyone that Williams had been among the favorites for that year's Senior MGP (he had finished fourth the previous year).

A Long Winter and Getting Back in the Groove
The winter months of 2024/25 for Jamie revolved around two things: rehabilitation and racing. In interviews before this year's MGP, he joked that last year he "managed" only 34 miles on the first qualifying day – this year, he simply wanted to go further. He also explained that to regain his rhythm, he competed in as many races across the continent as possible: IRRC, Belgian Twin Trophy, BeNeLux Trophy, and other events.

D-Day: Supersport Manx GP 2025
Saturday's Supersport (600) race brought ideal conditions and a four-lap contest. Riding his Honda CBR600RR in JLG/NCE Racing colors, Williams initially controlled the lead pack. After a pitstop at the end of the second lap, he took the lead and crossed the finish line 6.653 seconds ahead of Irish rider Caomhan Canny, with Ryan Whitehall finishing third. Average speeds in the race exceeded 120 mph, and Gahan recorded the fastest lap at 120.664 mph.
For Jamie, it was a "home" triumph in Douglas – symbolically, exactly one year after his injury!
