Tech-Air® 10 Race is not just a vest – it's a complete upper-body protection system, including the coccyx and hips. With its advanced technology and extensive coverage, it represents the pinnacle of racing airbag systems.
Maximum Protection for Racing Riders
Tech-Air® 10 from Alpinestars is an advanced electronic airbag system developed specifically for racing use. Upon activation, it protects the rider's shoulders, chest, back, hips, and coccyx.
It is designed to be worn under a one-piece or two-piece suit – ideally those marked as Tech-Air® Compatible or Tech-Air® Ready, or under any other suit that provides at least 4 cm of space around the chest and 2 cm around the hips to allow sufficient room for inflation.
Compared to previous models, which only protected the upper body, Tech-Air® 10 extends coverage to the hips. The airbag stretches from just above the knees up to the neck and wrists, delivering unmatched safety.

LED DISPLAY
The wireless LED display connects to the inner waistband, which automatically activates the system when powered on. After activation, the display can easily be moved to the rider's arm for clear monitoring of the system. It is also wirelessly charged through the base located on the inner waistband.
UNMATCHED LEVEL OF PROTECTION
According to independent tests by certification company SGS (CE certification), the system transmits less than 1 kN of force during an impact – equivalent to the protection offered by 18 CE Level 1 back protectors or 9 CE Level 2 protectors.
SERVICE AFTER ACTIVATION
After the airbag has been deployed (for example, in the event of a crash), the vest must be sent to an authorized service center. More information is available in the Airbags section or directly from the TTRACE dealer.
