Tech-Air® 10 Race is more than just a vest – it's a
full-body protection system covering the upper torso, hips, and coccyx. Thanks
to its advanced technology and extensive coverage, it represents the cutting
edge of race-ready airbag protection.
Maximum Protection for Track Riders
The Alpinestars Tech-Air® 10 is an advanced electronic
airbag system developed specifically for racing. Upon activation, it protects
the rider's shoulders, chest, back, hips, and coccyx.
It is designed to be worn under one-piece or two-piece
racing suits – ideally those marked Tech-Air® Compatible or Tech-Air®
Ready, or any other suit that provides at least 4 cm of space around the
chest and 2 cm around the hips, allowing room for the airbag to inflate if
triggered.
Unlike previous models that protected only the upper body,
the Tech-Air® 10 expands coverage to include the hips. The airbag system
extends from just above the knees to the neck and down to the wrists, providing
unrivaled protection.

LED DISPLAY
The wireless LED display connects to the internal waistband,
which automatically activates the system when fastened. Once activated, the LED
display can be placed on the rider's arm for easy system monitoring. It also
charges wirelessly through a dedicated base located on the inner waistband.
UNMATCHED IMPACT PROTECTION
According to independent tests conducted by SGS, an
official CE certification body, the Tech-Air® 10 system transmits less than 1
kN of impact force — equivalent to the protection of 18 CE Level 1 back
protectors or 9 CE Level 2 back protectors.
POST-ACTIVATION SERVICE
After airbag activation (e.g., during a crash), the vest
must be sent to an authorized service center for inspection and reset. For more
